Rapid Application Development

Starn Technical Services uses Rapid Application Development (RAD) to create custom software. Rapid Application Development benefits the customer in a several ways. Features may be validated through a vision of the finished product; thus lowering project risk and improving decisions related to distribution of project resources to tasks. To the extent prototyped components are available, system users can develop early buy-in. Further, you will be able to observe the system in operation through more of the business cycle.

This approach uses RAD tools, e.g., Fourth Generation Languages, and techniques to deliver working application prototypes to the end user at a very early stage of the project. On smaller projects, this prototype may be the finished product, which means investment can be minimized. For larger systems, the prototype serves as the model for migrating into a more formal system environment.
